Clean-up day: Beach blitz

INTERNATIONAL Coastal Clean-up Day tomorrow raises awareness about the importance of conserving oceans. The theme for this year is “trash-free seas”.

South Coasters will be join the clean-up tomorrow.

The Umtentweni Conservancy will start tidying up at the Tweni beach car park.

Due to the Boks match against Fiji at 8 am, there will be a shift at 7 am and another at 10.15 am.

The focus areas are Tweni beach, Shad Lane and Chaka’s Rock. Refuse bags will be provided at the Tweni beach car park.
