A 25-YEAR-OLD police constable is due to appear in court today after being arrested for a case of murder, and the kidnapping and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm of four other members of the Shezi family.

According to police spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane, during the early hours of last Thursday, four people who claimed to be police officers arrived at the Shezi homestead at Moscow in Ematimatolo, Greytown, and kidnapped five members of the Shezi family. “The victims claim they were taken to nearby bushes where they were allegedly assaulted.
