A REWARD of R50 000 has been offered for any information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the people who killed Lamulani Philani Ngxongo.

Ngxongo (28), a partner in a taxi business, and his wife, Babongile Ngcobo (24), were in their house in Inadi at Dalton when they were attacked with high-calibre machine guns, said police spokesperson Joey Jeevan.

“Ngxongo died on the scene while his wife sustained serious gunshot wounds,” said Jeevan.

“The incident is believed to be related to taxi violence.”

Jeevan urged anyone with information that could assist in the investigation to call Detective Warrant Officer Mervin Govender at 033 501 1552/612 or

Callers who want to remain anonymous should call Crime Stop at 08600 10111.
