Dance 2 Inspire: grand finale – the 2013 experience

2013-12-06 00:00

DANCE 2 Inspire, powered by Update Your Status “Get yourself tested”, reaches its climax tomorrow, as the grand finale is scheduled to take place at the Winston Churchill Theatre.

One dance crew and one solo dancer will rise as the Champions of 2013 in this epic HIV/Aids dance competition.

Only six crews: Decepticons; Spazzmeters; Junior Twilight; Too Loud Crew; S.B.D. Floor Busters; and 2012 defending champions Jnr Twilights & Twilights, and four solo acts: Jnr Non Human; King Pain; Havoc and 2012 defending champion Dotcom, are left in this epic dance showdown and the winner will take it all! Dance 2 Inspire is a dance competition in KwaZulu-Natal that harnesses the power of music and dance to inspire young people to get tested for HIV.

These crews and solos have qualified over the elimination rounds held throughout the year.

Clearly the judges Ayanda Masondo, Sihle “Ceephor” Luthingo and Lucian Friedman will have a tough day choosing the winners. However, they will be joined by a celebrity guest who is not only a dancer, but also a V-Entertainment presenter, Strictly Come Dancing finalist, model and actress, Vuzu TV’s Lalla Hirayama.

Other guest performances include Dream Team DBN, Raphael Griffiths, Spar10z, ProTwerkers, Tee, DJ Joey Drumz and more. The event is supported by Gagasi FM, Msunduzi Municipality, Department of Arts and Culture, District Health, Ilawu Hotel and PMB Tourism.

To book tickets for R50, visit the PMB Tourism office or call Zama at 033 345 1348.
