2009-10-19 00:00

DURBAN’S Bongi Msidane and Thina Mbatha are one of five couples through to the next round of the Top Billing Win A Wedding competition.

For the chance to win a lavish wedding to the value of R500 000, they are up against Cape Town contestants Kim Moodley and Jonathan Andrews, and Janine Richards and Clifford Swarts; Lauren Mashile and Tshepo Rankowe from Soweto; and Ilna Van Wyk and Ruan Welman from Polokwane.

On Thursday, October 22, the programme will reveal the top three and will follow them as they prepare a meal for their family and friends and see if they are really ready for married life.

On October 29, the final two couples will be announced and given tasks to determine the ultimate winner.

They will each organise a bachelor and bachelorette party for their partner, allowing the audience the chance to see just how well they know the tastes of their future life partner.

The winning couple will be announced on the November 5 show.

The spectacular wedding will take place on November 6.

On November 12, Top Billing viewers will be able to watch the highlights of the special day.

• Top Billing is broadcast on Thursdays at 7.30 pm on SABC3.
