Dust off the lederhosen and dirndl for Howick’s first Oktoberfest

2010-10-08 00:00

DON’T miss out on this year’s first-ever Howick Oktoberfest at Pecanwood Farm.

If you haven’t already bought your ticket for the night out of the year, you still have time to get yours from Computicket at just R69 or at the gate for R100 per head.

The package includes a full night’s worth of fun, food and camping facilities. The event starts at 2 pm tomorrow and will come to a close on Sunday at 10 am. Round-the- clock security will be provided. Patrons will not be allowed to bring their own alcohol on to the property.

One lucky Witness reader will win a trip for two to Germany to attend next year’s Munich Oktoberfest. The trip will be sponsored by Student Flights and Contiki Tours.

Winners of the 10 double tickets in the SMS competition are Greg Lawson, John Powell, Linda Weilbach, Ian Alberts, Tracey Vorster, Theresa Holmes, James Hattingh, Caroline Bell, Dean Baney and Bernadine Mostert.
