Eskom warns of N3 road closures

2014-02-12 00:00

ESKOM yesterday warned motorists of planned temporary road closures during construction on the N3 near Mooi River on Saturday morning.

The closures are for an electricity lines crossing operation that will be undertaken by Eskom’s Major Engineering Works section.

The first closure is at 8.30 am and is expected to last a maximum of 30 minutes. Traffic will then be allowed to flow for approximately 10 to 15 minutes whilst the construction team prepares to take across the rest of the lines.

The second closure will then be enforced. It is also expected to last a maximum of 30 minutes.

Eskom said the traffic release times are subject to change on request by traffic officials and apologised for any inconvenience to road users.
