THE Chinese Consulate in Durban and Durban University of Technology will be jointly hosting the first-ever Chinese Film Festival in Durban for four weeks from August 18.

During the festival, which aims to showcase China’s talent in cinematography, 12 films will be screened.

The vision is for both cultures to exchange information, understand cultural diversity and relate to challenges that face both communities.”
