WONDERING what wine to serve your many guests at an upcoming special function?

The upcoming Parklane Cellars Wine Festival will answer this question.

With representation from many of the country’s top wine estates and some great international wines under one roof, it is your chance to taste, compare, and make first-hand choices while engaging with the estates. Whether you are looking for the best cabernet blend to suit your budget or simply wish to savour an award-winning premium wine, don’t miss this once a year opportunity when the Parklane Cellars Wine Festival allows three hours of unparalleled access to the world of fine wine.

The Witness is the media partner for this event.

Presented by Parklane Cellars, the wine festival takes place on Thursday from 6 pm to 9 pm at hall two at the Royal Show Grounds with parking available on the Voortrekker High School Field.

Tickets for the charity event are available from Jennifer at Parklane Coffee Shop at R160 each, including your own tasting glass. In addition to the over 350 wines on offer, food products from various suppliers, to complement the palate, will also be on offer.

Pianist Christopher Duigan and friend, James Grace, will and provide an ad lib performance of great classics in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

“Wine speaks to all the senses: the eyes behold the colour, tone and shade; the nose, the bouquet, the fingers and lips caress the cool crystal; the ears delight in the subtle swishing of the liquid; the tongue rejoices in the reward of a rich harvest,” according to wine lover, Mary Lou Posch.
