TONIGHT

• The Heritage Theatre (Hillcrest) presents the Bats in Loudly South African, starring Eddie Eckstein, Paul Ditchfield, Pete Clifford and Derek Gordon, who will perform new songs and old favourites like In a Shabby Little Hut and Vat Hom Dawie. Tickets are R190, including a two-course meal, and R100 for the show only.

• South African jazz sensation Zahara will take time out during her Durban sojourn to interact with budding artists and school pupils at J. G.  Zuma High School hall (Besters, Inanda) in an effort to impart her skills and give motivational talks to young people. • February 3 to February 5: Up the Creek Music Festival’s line-up includes aKing, Akkedis, Black Cat Bones, Blues Broers, Cameron Bruce, City Bowl Mizers, Fox Comet, Great Apes, Holiday Murray, Hot Water, Karen Zoid, Louwtjie Rothman, Machiniri, No One’s Arc, Piet Botha, Taxi Violence, ­Wreshrelish, Jeremy Loops, Luna Paige, Shadowclub, Sterling EQ, Andra, Peachy Keen, ACDC Tribute and Southern Gypsey Queen. • March 7: Usher will headline the Hansa Festival of Legends Tour at the ICC Durban Arena. Tickets range from R250 to R450 and can be bought at www.computicket.com

• April 5 to April 9: Splashy Fen takes place over the Easter weekend, and early bird tickets are on sale for just R375, but they are limited. The early-bird promotion also applies to tickets for children aged four to 11 years, which will cost R100 each. Children under four get in free. Tickets can be bought at computicket.com
