MONDAY

The UKZN School of Music presents the Geneva Brass Quintet. Created in 2001, the Geneva Brass Quintet is a dynamic chamber music group of five musicians from the Geneva Music Conservatory in Switzerland. They will perform works by Michel, Crausaz, Bizet, Sturzenegger, Dukas and Brahms. They will also perform Quintet by South African composer Allan Stephenson. The music begins at 12.15 pm at the Howard College Theatre. Entrance is free and all are welcome. For inquiries, phone 031 260 3353.

TUESDAY

Acoustic rockers, the South Jersey Pom-Poms, will be the next feature act of the Maritzburg Musicians’ Club. St John will be the support act. The club meets every second Tuesday at the Red Door in Quarry Road (off Victoria Road). Entrance is R10 for non-members. Inquiries: 084 555 3112.

WEDNESDAY
