TONIGHT

• The Red Tap, 5 Harvard Street, Howick, presents music with Jammo from 7.30 pm. Expect a lively repertoire of rock classics and party favourites

• Get out your flares and platforms and head down to The Barnyard Theatre at Gateway and enjoy some disco fever courtesy of the Abba and Bee Gees tribute show Super Troupers, which runs until August 29. TOMORROW

• Skylit City — a newly formed PMB band — along with Johannesburg’s ::harbourlight:: and local indie band The Ranks will be performing at NCF at 7 pm.

• Mountain View Country Pub, Bishopstowe, features music with Jammo tonight, as well as the rugby on the big screen.

SUNDAY

• The SPCA fundraising day is being held at the Mountain View country entertainment ­centre. There will be music with Jammo, DJs, competitions and entertainment for adults and children alike as well as the usual facilities. The R35 entry fee includes a meal from one of the two spit-braais. • Starting at noon, friends and fellow musicians of Busi Mhlongo, who passed away on June 15, after a long and brave battle with cancer, will be gathering at the Rainbow ­Restaurant at 23 Stanfield Lane, Pinetown, for a farewell concert anchored by Mhlongo’s regular band under the leadership of pianist Susan Barry and bassist S’busiso Mndaweni, with assistance from long-time friend Madala Kunene. Admission is free.
