TONIGHT

• Running until Sunday is Platform Jazz at the Rhumbelow Theatre. The seven-piece Dixieland band will play authentic twenties’ toe-tapping jazz. The show starts at 8 pm tonight and tomorrow, and at 6.30 pm on Sunday. Book at Computicket.

• February 3 to February 5: Up the Creek Music Festival’s line-up includes aKing, Akkedis, Black Cat Bones, Blues Broers, Cameron Bruce, City Bowl Mizers, Fox Comet, Great Apes, Holiday Murray, Hot Water and Karen Zoid. • February 3: Internationally renowned guitarists Nibs van der Spuy and Guy Buttery will be showcasing their new duo show accompanied by the release of their collaboration album In The Shade of the Wild Fig. at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre in Durban. • February 14: Old Mutual Music at the Lake hosts a Valentine’s Day concert, featuring Arno Carstens and Louise Carver, which will take place in the Durban Botanic Gardens at 7 pm. For more information, phone 031 322 4021.

• February 17 to February 19: Godfrey Johnson returns to Durban at the Rhumbelow Theatre with two great shows, The Songs of Noel Coward and Jacques Brel, and The Jukebox Favourites.

• February 25: Rewind 80s Music Festival comes to King’s Park, Durban, featuring ABC, Midge Ure (Ultravox), Marc Almond, Howard Jones, Go West and Village People.

• March 6: A Jesus Culture conference will be taking place at Cityhill Church in Durban, as part of the band’s nationwide tour. Tickets are R150.

• March 7: Usher will headline the Hansa Festival of Legends Tour at the ICC Durban Arena. Tickets are R250 to R450 at www.computicket.com

• March 9: RAMfest takes place around the ­country, and arrives in Durban at Origin Night Club. The line-up includes Netsky (Belgium), Niskerone, Hyphen, SFR and many more. Tickets are R120.
