TONIGHT

• Party with DJ Skipper at Late Nite Bells (Howick North/Tweedie off ramp) tonight. Great all night drink and shooter specials. Doors open 8 pm. Inquires: 084 283 9518.

• Mountain View country pub presents this month’s live music party evening with music by Jammo. Music starts at 7 pm. Expect a rollicking good time with promotions and giveaways, as well as full bar and catering.

• Graham Faber will be performing at Lizard’s Rock, playing a range of sixties, seventies and eighties music.

• Genie in the Bottle (in CB Downes Road) hosts karaoke and dance with DJ Mervin from 7 pm. Inquiries: 082 253 7076.

• Club CP (Crystal Palace) presents a party night every Friday from 8 pm. Come dance the night away to the coolest tunes. Inquiries: 033 387 7941.

• DJ Bundy will be playing all sorts at Tracks End in Howick from 8 pm until late.

• The Kick ‘n Whistle behind the Woodburn Stadium hosts Shaun who will provide music from the eighties to now to dance and party to. Inquiries: 033 342 3528.

 

TOMORROW

• Club CP (Crystal Palace) presents a variety party mix every Saturday with the funkiest house, bhangra and old-school tunes from 8 pm. Inquiries: 033 387 7941.

 

SUNDAY

• Brett Cox teams up with well-known Durban muso Roly Struckmeyer at the Stagecoach. Entrance is free.

• Mike from Marshall Music plays laid-back piano and keyboard favourites from 5.30 pm at the Nevada spur at Cascades.

• Jammo will perform at the Olive Tree from 2 pm with a laid-back selection to start and the potential to get more lively later on. Anyone who can remember the Cafe 21 Sunday sessions will be familiar with the scene.

 

TUESDAY

• Next up at the Maritzburg Musicians’ Club, hosted at the Red Door, are up-and-coming indie band The Ranks, supported by singer songwriter Christo Loots. Entrance is R20, and the evening begins at 8.15 pm.

 

WEDNESDAY

• Jammo continues his popular Wednesday night slot at the Nevada Spur at Cascades, with a wide range of feel-good numbers from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

• The Kick ’n Whistle hosts karaoke with Jen and Gary. Inquiries: 033 342 3528.

 

THURSDAY

• Jen and Gary host karaoke from 7.30 pm at Lizards Rock.
