TONIGHT

• The fourth White Mountain Folk Festival includes Rambling Bones (alter ego of Jay Bones), Bertie Coetzee, Farryl Purkiss, Josie Field, Larry Amos, Gary Thomas, Laurie Levine, Redhand Blues Band, Joshua Grierson, Andra, Barry Thomson, Flowing Water Band, Catlike Thieves. TOMORROW

• Harry Monks performs his Irish folksongs concert Songs of the Isles in the Fern Theatre at Fern Hill Hotel at noon. Tickets are R40. Inquiries: 033 330 5071.

SUNDAY

• Shabalala Rhythm in concert at the Rainbow Restaurant in Pinetown with doors open at noon, first set 1 pm. Tickets R20 pre-sale/R40 at the door.

• Pegasus hosts Johnny McGregor and Ken Thompson, who entertain from noon. Three-course lunch available, booking appreciated. Inquiries: 083 532 4415.

• Bev MacGregor performs at the Kick ‘n Whistle (behind Woodburn stadium). Entrance is free. Three-course meal on offer from noon, booking advised: 076 074 4726.

TUESDAY

• The MMC hosts Ilan Lax with the Distric Boys and midlands musician Abbo Hall.

• The Olive Tree coffee shop hosts karaoke on Tuesday nights. Karaoke starts at 7 pm until late. Bar open from 4 pm.

 

WEDNESDAY

• Stagecoach open mic nigh t with Brett Cox. In quiries: 072 654 6224.

• Jammo is at the Nevada spur at Cascades from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

THURSDAY

• Jen and Gary host karaoke from 7.30 pm at the Lizards Rock.
