Guitarist launches album

2008-07-11 00:00

Luke Siedle is the next featured act at the Music Club at the Forgotten Falls. Because of the cold weather, this meeting will be held in front of the fire at Braeside Guest House in Howick at 7.30 pm.

Siedle, the young, talented Durban guitarist, singer and songwriter (taught by Guy Buttery), will be launching his new album, Our Stories, on which he demonstrates his own unique style of storytelling in his songs.

Also in the line-up is the Gloucester Blues Project with a blend of music styles with Frik Enslin on bass, John Goodall on guitar and vocals, Robyn Tompkins on vocals and Ian and Andrew Dickinson on drums and lead guitar.

Take your own drinks and picnics, and squash in on the floor around the fire for an evening of great entertainment.

Entry fee is R25 for members and R30 for non-members. Children under 12 have free entry.

To get to the venue, take the Karkloof Road out of Howick, take the very first road right (Shafton Road) and the first house on the right is Braeside Guest House. CDs will be on sale at R100. Inquiries: 033 330 5328.
