Howick Falls Hotel rejuvenation project complete

2007-11-13 00:00

The rejuvenation of the historic Howick Falls Hotel is now complete following about 18 months of building and refurbishment, with the hope that it will attract not only seasonal visitors, tourists and “day-traffic”, but also foreign and domestic overnight visitors.

The historic Howick building originally constructed 134 years ago was at the centre of a multi-million rand investment that also boosted the appearance of the town.

Durban based property developers, Rio Ridge 25 (Pty) Ltd under the leadership of Jason Wilson, Jose Leite and Mike Howarth, served as the catalysts for this about-turn in the fortunes of the iconic venue in Howick.

The development boasts 22 fully refurbished en suite rooms, two restaurants and 11 retail outlets.
