Ingeli/Harding tourism centre launched

2011-04-19 00:00

WEDNESDAY last week marked the official launch of the Ingeli/Harding Tourism Information Centre. The region is known by many as the gateway from the South Coast into the Eastern Cape.

Hilda Gabriel of South Coast Tourism said the opening of the centre is indicative of the growth of the tourism industry on the South Coast.

“We are very excited to have opened up a new information centre in Harding. The area is certainly a gateway to the Drakensberg and Eastern Cape and this provides us with an opportunity to engage with our tourists,” Gabriel said.

The centre will provide tourists with brochures containing information about the South Coast and surrounding areas.

“We trust that the office will be of great benefit to all visitors travelling to Ingeli/Harding and its surrounds and that it will stimulate growth and further development of the route as a tourist destination,” she added.
