CAPE TOWN — Former Springbok coach Jake White has reportedly been added to the back-room staff of Tonga’s national rugby team.

According to the One News in New Zealand, White will serve as a technical adviser to head coach Mana Otai when Tonga play Georgia, the United States and Scotland next month. White (51) has not confirmed whether he will be available for Tonga at next year’s World Cup in England, but Peter Harding, Tonga’s high-performance manager, says negotiations are positive.
