KZN Inland and KZN Coastal post solid wins

THE KZN Inland and KZN Coastal teams had a solid day one in the Boys U18 Interprovincial Hockey Tournament at Maritzburg College yesterday.

Inland beat Western Province B 9-1 and edged Southern Free State 2-1 while KZN Coastal beat South Western Districts 8-0 in their lone match.

Inland B and Coastal B are in the B Section and they beat North West 4-2 and Limpopo 4-1 respectively.

At the Girls U18 Interprovincial Hockey Tournament at Kearsney College, KZN Coastal drew 0-0 with Southern Gauteng and beat Mpumalanga 1-0 while KZN Inland beat South Gauteng B 3-0. KZN Coastal B beat Border B 1-0 in the B Section.

In the Boys U18 fixtures today, Coastal face South Free State at 8.50 am and Inland meet Border at 10.10 am. Coastal also meet Western Province B at 3.30 pm. At the AB Jackson, Inland B face Border B at 7.30 am and North Free State at 3.30 pm while Coastal tackle Mpumalanga at 11.30 am.

In the Girls U18 fixtures today, KZN Inland taking on Western Province at 10.10 am and KZN Inland tackling Western Province B at 4.50 pm. KZN Coastal face Northerns at 2.10 pm in the B Section at St Marys, Coastal B face SWD at 10.30 am and Boland B (at Kearsney) at 6.10 pm.
