KZN hopefuls in the last 14

2010-08-21 00:00

FIVE KwaZulu-Natal contestants — Jess Yallup (22), Peter G (19), Sindi Nene (22), Lloyd Cele (28) and Zintle Mkwela (24) — have made it into the top 14 of this year’s Idols.

The top 14 has been divided into two groups of seven and in the next two weeks, fans will say goodbye to two contestants in each group. The first group consists of: Yallup, Peter G, Nene, Pieter West (25, Bloemfontein), Boki Ntsime (21, Johannesburg), S’posh Petshwa (24, King William’s Town) and Bongi Mmthombeni (23, Tembisa).

The second group are: Cele, Mkwela, Funeka Peppeta (24, Johannesburg), Jamie-Lee (22, Johannesburg), Elvis Blue (30, George), Adeline Mocke (22, Cape Town) and Gail Nkoane (25, Kimberley).

If you want to see your favourites in action — either at the Spectaculars , which are recorded on Friday nights, or at the nerve-wracking live results shows, get tickets from Computicket for R20 or R40.
