Kids holiday programme

2009-06-26 00:00

IF you are a working parent and don’t know what to do with your children during the winter break, the Voortrekker Msunduzi Museum Kids Holiday Programme may be a good place to start.

The week-long event will start next Monday, and children aged eight to 14 can be happily occupied with activities such as beadwork, baking, embroidery and rock painting from 9 am to noon.

This year’s programme is “exciting and different”, said Makhosi Zwane of the museum.

While all working materials will be provided by the museum, parents will need to provide packed lunches on all but the last day, when all participants will be served a special meal.

Costs are R25 per child for the whole programme. Booking is essential as space is limited.

For bookings, contact Zwane at 033 394 6835/5 or mzane@msunduzimuseum.org.za — WR.
