Lotter trial set down for August

2010-01-28 00:00

THE trial of two Westville siblings accused of killing their parents has been set down for August.

The matter, heard in the high court in Durban yesterday, was adjourned for trial on August 30.

Nicolette Lotter (26) and her younger brother Hardus allegedly killed their parents, Johan and Magdalena Lotter, at their Westville home in July.

Johan had been strangled while his wife was stabbed several times in the kitchen.

Lotter was the head of the Bayer/Lanxess chemical plant in Merebank, Durban.

Nicolette’s then boyfriend, Matthew Naidoo, who allegedly assisted the siblings, will also be on trial.
