Milner eyes new team

CAPE TOWN — Manchester City are on the brink of losing James Milner on a free in the summer with the midfielder eyeing a fresh challenge.

The Guardian reports that Milner has already held talks with Inter Milan, Roma and Internazionale as well as two clubs in Spain over a proposed move when his contract expires on June 30.

Milner, often overlooked at City due to his less flamboyant style, has spent five seasons in Manchester since arriving from Aston Villa.

The England international midfielder has won two league titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup winner’s medal to his name at City but has failed to land a permanent starting role at the club.

Liverpool are also reportedly tracking the latest development’s regarding Milner’s future.
