Pep to close on Sunday

2013-12-13 00:00

TWO more chain stores have indicated they will close as a sign of respect for former President Nelson Mandela’s funeral.

PEP Stores and Ackermans will be closed this Sunday, and will reopen on Monday.

PEP Stores spokesperson Lana Martens said this was not only to show a sign of respect and mourning for Nelson Mandela, but also in order to allow employees to be able — together with their families and loved ones — to honour Madiba’s legacy.

“PEP stores in Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Swaziland will be open on Sunday,” she said.
