Who’s doing what and where on Mandela Day? With 27 clean-up campaigns and 37 ward councillor initiatives, there will be 54 projects on the go in Msunduzi on Mandela Day.

• The Witness — Willowton Road clean-up (8 to 9.10 am).

• Golden Horse Casino — New England Road (2 to 3 pm).

• Home Studio — Victoria Road.

• Shuter & Shooter Publishers in Mkondeni — the area surrounding their premises — Shortts Retreat, Halstead, Cosmos, Clavershay and Portland Road (8.45 to 10 am).

• Inland Fuel Supplies — Lamond Place clean-up.

• Theo’s Trailer Hire — Lamond Place clean-up.

• Austen-Smith — clean-up around their premises, 191 Pietermaritz Street and side roads.

• Hi-Mantle Property Developers — the vacant plot in Boom Street, next to Russell High School.

• Mediclinic — clean-up of the banks of the Duzi River from the Albert Luthuli Road Bridge to the Boshoff Street Bridge (12 to 3 pm).

• Nu-Print and eight neighbouring businesses to clean up Winston Road.

• Bettacrete — clean-up of illegal dumping in Buntine Place.

• Profile Property Solutions — will be cleaning in the Mkondeni area.

• Green Property Network — Will be cleaning up an illegal dump site in Bombay Heights, Northdale.

• KZN Language Institute and Alliance Francaise — clean-up of Coronation Road, down to Alan Paton Avenue.

• Danny Chetty and his neighbours — Dunveria clean-up (Sunset Cresent and Tulip Avenue).

• Hope Youth Foundation — Entrance to Cinderella Park clean-up.

• Arise and Shine — the community-based action group will be painting and cleaning up Eastwood Primary School.

• The Duzi-uMgeni Conservation Trust (Duct) 67-minute clean-ups at: Ashdown near the library and a section of Gomora; Imbali Unit 2 close to the crèche and low-level bridge; Leicester Park grounds; the area on either side of the Roberts Road bridge.

• Wendy Woollam and Kary Smithers and Scottsville businesses — Alan Paton Avenue to Golf Road, Ridge and Shores roads.

. Jay Jugwanth and neigbourhood school pupils — clean-up of Granadilla Crescent open space.

• Sandile Ndawonde and Green Network — dump sites in France.

• KZN Inland Cricket Union — Alexandra Park.

• Guru Rambaranji’s Vedanta Ashram — Royston Road, Mountain Rise. Meet outside the ashram at 11 am.

• Johara Khan calls on residents of William Street to join her and her grandfather to sweep and pick up the dirt in their street.

• Farouk Ally invites Epworth and Scottsville residents to join him in cleaning up Ward 37. For more details, call him on 083 845 7865

• Chris Neumann and friends — Lamond Place.

All 37 ward councillors will be driving a clean-up project in the wards on Mandela Day. Most of the projects will start at 8 am at designated hotspots. For more details, contact your councillor.
