Powerball: Jackpot at record R50 mln

THE PowerBall Jackpot has climbed to yet another high with today’s estimated jackpot of R50 million.

No one was able to match the six winning numbers that could have earned them a cool R45 million in Friday’s draw.

However, three lucky winners came close to winning the jackpot by clinching the second-division prize, with each one of them walking away with R508 033 each.

National Lottery Operator Gidani spokeswoman Thembi Tulwana said the R50 million estimated jackpot on offer is an opportunity not to be missed.

“Never in the history of the National Lottery has an amount of this magnitude been offered …”
