Private IEB exams start across SA

THE matric examinations for the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) candidates began yesterday.

According to IEB CEO Anne Oberholzer, this will see “9 978 full-time candidates and 519 private candidates” writing the IEB exam countrywide, which end on November 28. The results are due on December 31.

On Monday, KZN’s 128 000 registered matric pupils will officially begin the National Senior Certificate Examinations, although this week pupils sat for the computer applications technology and information technology practical exams. The NSC exams end on November 28, and the results are due to be announced on January 5.
