RTI test deaths: new venue for probe

2013-05-10 00:00

THE inquiry into the Road Traffic Inspectorate recruitment exercise that led to the deaths of eight job applicants at Harry Gwala Stadium last year will resume on Monday.

The commission of inquiry will convene at a new venue, the Premier’s Office at 300 Langalibalele Street. This is because the Royal Showgrounds are being prepared for the annual show, which opens on May 24.

The commission will sit until May 15, and again from May 21 to 24. The hearings are open to all. The commission’s secretary, Dumisani Xaba, can be reached at 072 039 0353.
