COLLEGE Rovers and Durban Collegians dominated the quarter-finals of the the Castle Murray Cup, but they have now been drawn to meet in the semi-finals of the competition.

Collegians will meet College Rovers in the semi-finals at Riverside in Durban North on Friday evening.

The draw for the semi-finals rounds of both knockout competitions took place at King’s Park on Monday, and favoured Zululand Rhinos and Crusaders. These two Premier Division sides that propped up the Moor Cup log table now meet in the other Murray Cup semi-final, and one will meet either Collegians or Rovers in the final of the province’s prestigious knockout competition.

In the Junior Murray Cup competition, Maritzburg Collegians find themselves up against their neighbours Maritzburg Varsity in one of the semi-finals of the Junior Murray Cup on Woodburn 2, while Newcastle Highlanders will be at home to Piet Retief in the other semi-final.
