POLICE Search and Rescue officers braved the sheer face of an 80-metre cliff to recover the body of a man who had plunged to his death near Nsuze on the KZN North Coast on Tuesday.

“An inquest docket has been opened for investigation by Nsuze SAPS and it is alleged on Tuesday, at approximately 7.15 am, the body of Mnikeni Thusi (28) was found under the cliff at Doboti area, Nsuze. Circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated,” police spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said. He confirmed that detectives were probing Thusi’s death.
