CAPE Town-based singer songwriter Luna Paige will be in Pieter-maritzburg and Durban for the release of her third album, Wonderful Life, at the Red Door on Tuesday, at Highfield House on March 27 and at the Rainbow Resturant on March 28. She is joined by Schalk Joubert (bass), Willem Moller (guitar) and Kevin Gibson (drums) for the Durban shows. Paige is a dynamic and soulful performer. This is her second trip to KwaZulu-Natal.

 

Maritzburg Musicians’ Club at the Red Door (March 23)

Entrance: R20

Time: 8 pm

Also featuring Pietermaritzburg favourites the Hairy Legged­ Lentil Eaters, who have a new set of acoustic blues songs with which they intend to treat the audience.

Highfield House (March 27)

Entrance: R60 (with two local bands opening for Paige).

Time: 6 pm

What to take: Go along and braai on the open fires and enjoy an evening of good music.
