Sitter and friends to play at Krakatoa

2008-01-04 00:00

The next instalment of Sitter (pictured) and Friends takes place on January 10. First up on the bill is Durban band His Dying Wish — a band that has impressed critics over the last year and won the Durban leg of the Battle for Woodstock and was featured at the Woodstock festival.

Second on the bill is Driverlane. The rock outfit has toured extensively across South Africa alongside bands such as The Parlotones and The Springbok Nude Girls and has recently reached the number one spot on 5fm’s High 5 at Five with their hit single Regular Flavour. Sitter will round out the evening.

The music begins at 7.30 pm and tickets are R30. Tickets can be booked by phoning the Sibaya box office at 031 580 5000 or they can be bought at the door.

• The party buses have a limited number of seats available and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Those interested in booking their spot on the party bus can e-mail their names, cellphone numbers, and number of tickets required to gary@sitter.co.za.
