South coaster of the day

2011-03-08 00:00

LEANNE Julyan is an employee at The Holiday Club in Port Shepstone. With her children the most important thing in her life, Julyan says that she has enjoyed living on the South Coast ever since her school days. The Witness asked her:

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I would like to own my own business and work from home.

What do you do during your spare time?

I spend time with my kids, read and I’m online all the time.

What makes you proud to be South African?

Definitely the way that South Africans pull together during sporting events.

What has been your most memorable time on the South Coast?

I would have to say going to school here and making life- long friends.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I would love to go to Germany — there is so much history there.

If you could choose a career for your child, what would it be and why?

I wouldn’t want to choose her career, but if I did, it would be anything to do with animals.

What would you change about the South Coast?

I would bring bigger events down here.

Where is your favourite place in the South Coast?

Definitely Tweni.

How often do you go the beach?

To be honest, I hardly ever go to the beach. I hate the sand.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Nothing planned for this weekend, probably I’ll just relax at home.
