ERRBODY LOVES DODSON

THE Internet catchphrase of the week, “hide your kids, hide your wives, and hide your husband cause they rapin’ errbody out here,” has been coined by Antoine Dodson.

Dodson, of Alabama, was at home when he heard his sister shouting; a man had climbed through her window and was trying to assault her. The man fled, leaving behind his shirt and fingerprints.

An irate Dodson gave an interview to a local news channel the next day and, soon after the piece was broadcast, Dodson’s interview was remixed into a song that spread online.

The song features Dodson “singing” the words “run and tell that homeboy … we got your T-shirt, you done left fingerprints and all, you are so dumb, you are really dumb — for real.”

Dodson’s image has been used to sell T-shirts and mugs and the Youtube video “bed intruder song” has had over five million views.

KITTY GETS BINNED

A UK spinster has caused an international outcry and is under police guard after receiving death threats on Facebook after she was caught on CCTV throwing a kitten into a wheelie bin.

Mary Bale (45) was walking home from her job when she saw a kitten perched on a small wall. She stroked the kitten before picking it up and throwing it into a wheelie bin.

She then closed the lid and kept walking.

The kitten’s owners found the distraught cat 15 hours later when they heard its tired yelps from within the bin.

Bale was identified after police reviewed the CCTV footage.

Bale said she thought it would be funny to throw the cat into the bin.

Earlier this week she said she did not know what “all the fuss is about.” After all, “it’s just a cat,” she said.

She has since admitted it was a moment of bad judgment for which she is sorry.

EATING OUT

The Witness’s Facebook page was swamped with comments this week when we asked which places in the city were the best to eat and relax at.

One friend said Redlands Hotel is great for special occasions and another said the best cake could be found at Butterflies for Africa. Rosehurst came out a firm favourite for tea, and 033lifestyle was cited as the ultimate party place in the city.
