Three of SA’s finest funny guys at Suncoast tonight

2011-09-02 00:00

THREE of the country’s best comedians — Loyiso Gola, Ntosh Madlingozi and Sifiso Nene — will be performing in the Metro FM Comedy Experience at the Suncoast Sunzone in Durban tonight.

Afterwards fans can party with Metro FM’s DJ Siyanda and special guest Kabelo “Bouga Luv” of TKZ fame, at Café Vacca Matta.

Gola is revelling in the success of his groundbreaking satirical news show on eTV, Late Nite News which is watched by over a million people, and has just finished a national tour of his latest one-man show Life & Times.

Madlingozi, one of the judges on SABC1’s So You Think You’re Funny, is writing a one-man show which he plans to launch in 2012, and Nene is not only making waves in his native Durban, but also made the whole country sit up and notice when he won So You Think You’re Funny.

“As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are excited to be coming back into the comedy space,” said Metro FM marketing manager Victor Koaho.

“Local comedy has grown in leaps and bounds in recent times with home-grown talent entertaining a burgeoning comedy audience nationwide. We are glad to be contributing to this movement by bringing this exclusive comedy property to Durban.”

Tickets range from R120 to R150 at Computicket. — Arts Editor.
