Tonight's music in KZN

Local bands from KwaZulu-Natal will be performing at the Royal Show tonight. Marshall Music and BigBeat productions are hosting a concert featuring Zephyr, Redeye, Tracing Sunday, and Burning Soul between 7 pm and 10 pm.

A concert after-party from the Royal Show is being held at Murmur night club (176 Victoria Road) featuring Junior C, DJ T and Skipper and Jeez. Entrance is R30.

The Splayed Ferrets will be performing at StarGazers, situated at 6 Parker Rd, Chase Valley. The band will be playing from 8 pm, performing seventies and eighties rock.

Fusion band Coda will be performing at Florida Road’s Society Restaurant in Durban from 9 pm. The band is described as an irresistible combination of kwaito, house, classical and Afro-jazz. Contact Society at 031 312 3213 or Coda at 082 480 3964 or e-mail codamusic@telkomsa.net

Newholmes Hotel presents the Gay Caballeros dance band every Friday night with Raymond Joseph to blow you back to your roots. Dress is smart casual. Inquiries: 073 735 1020.
