TWO 26-year-old men were arrested after robbing a pedestrian at the corner of Berg and West Streets on Wednesday evening.

According to police, Moses Mbele (32) was walking towards town when the two men approached him.

One pulled a knife and they both attacked Mbele, kicking and punching him. They took R10 and a cellphone from him and fled on foot.

Mbele stopped a police vehicle which happened to be passing and reported the incident. Police gave chase and arrested both suspects.
