UKhozi FM Cconcert: Thousands turn out on last day of show

2010-06-07 00:00

THOUSANDS of people attended the Ukhozi FM concert on the last day of the Royal Agricultural Show yesterday.

The line-up featured Ntando, Sfiso Ncwane, Ncandweni, Thokozani Langa, Shabalala Rythms, Big Nuz, Teargas, Skwatta Kamp, Mandoza and L’vovo.

Linda Sibiya, host of the station’s breakfast show Vuka Sizwe, said: “This year’s show has a good feel to it because of the 2010 World Cup. The schoolkids were able to attend in their numbers because they have probably finished writing their exams.

“We did this also to honour Bafana Bafana ahead of their opening game … against Mexico.”
