Velo Skills Intermediate MTB Skills Course

JOIN ex-Springbok mountain biker Amy-Jane Mundy and her team for a morning of technical training. If you have mastered the fundamentals of mountain biking and need to start riding the bull runs instead of the chicken runs, this is for you.

The course is aimed at the more confident rider wanting to move onto the technical side of mountain biking and improve on their riding skills, tackling steeper and bigger obstacles.

We will cover riding positions, climbing and descending, braking control, steep sharp uphill and downhill switchbacks, loose gravel, rocky climbs and descents, lifting the front wheel, drop-offs and more. Class size will be limited to a maximum of 10 riders.

Skills Clinic

Grant Dinkel, the former owner of Adrenaline Cycles, will be hosting mechanical skills clinics at Giba Gorge.

You will learn the basic workings of your bike, allowing you to access and repair any basic mechanical problems that you may run into on a ride. The first 10 bookings will be accepted per class
