JABI Matsoso describes herself as a creative conceptualist who loves to put things together.

She also loves being in front of the camera on Rivoningo, an SABC education and life skills show for children aged four to nine, which is broadcast weekdays on SABC2 at 10.30 am.

Matsoso made her first appearance on television on Imagine That! on SABC2 in 2007.

“This opportunity changed my life. My new career in the media includes writing, research, communication, art design, acting and script translations. Having worked on several projects both behind and in front of the camera, this has opened doors and there are endless possibilities,” she said.

Since that first show, Matsoso has worked on Walk Like a Man, Masechaba, Heartlines, Burning the Bridges, Managing your Money and Be Financially Smart, but Rivoningo is her favourite.

“It is great to share my love for reading and writing on the show. The show also teaches numeracy for children in the foundation phases of learning,” she said.
