PMB CRAFT: A one day introductory fabric dyeing course will be held at Midlands Arts and Crafts Society (Macs) house, at 23 Haldane Road, today from 9 am. DBN THEATRE: Frederico Garcia Lorca’s ­drama classic, Blood Wedding, about revenge, desire and tragedy will be staged at the Courtyard Theatre at the Durban University of Technology at 7.30 pm until March 13. The play is considered a classic of 20th-century theatre and is inspired by a newspaper cutting which reported on a family vendetta and a bride who ran away with the son of the enemy. Tickets: R20. MIDLANDS THEATRE: Howick High School presents the musical, Fiddler on the Roof, in the school hall at 7 pm tonight and on March 12 and at 3 pm on March 11. Tickets are R30 each from the front office of the school. Phone 033 330 2858.

DBN MUSIC: Sindisiwe Nene and her band (students of UKZN School of Music) will be performing both original compositions and ­popular standard tunes at Howard College Theatre today from 12.15 pm to 1 pm. Band members include Sindisiwe Nene (bass and lead vocals), Siza Madlala (piano) and Albert Chamene (drums). Admission is free.

DBN MUSIC: The Vincent Mtetwa Band will perform at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music tonight at 5.30 pm. The band members are Vincent Mtetwa (piano), Lukhetho ­Mthethwe (keyboards), Bheka Mthethwa (bass), Dane Francis (guitar) and Sbu Zondi (drums). Admission is R20 (R10 students).
