Woz’oPhola: fun for the family

2010-10-11 00:00

THE uMgungundlovu District Municipality will join in the fun on the Corporate Soccer Challenge.

The municipality has come in as a partner for the first-ever Witness Woz’oPhola Corporate Soccer Challenge, to be held on the outer fields near Harry Gwala stadium on October 17.

The Witness and the municipality promise the people of Pietermaritzburg the time of their lives on the day.

DJ Msizi Shembe of iGagasi 99.5 FM and other local DJs will keep spectators entertained with soothing sounds and Brian Zuma, MC for the day, will make sure that you laugh and have fun.

Children will be offered entertainment such as face painting and games.

Make sure you come with your family and friends next Sunday. Admission for spectators and parking are free.

The tournament starts at 8 am and ends after 5 pm when the final football game is concluded.

For more information about the Challenge, call Mbuso Madondo at 082 056 2693, e-mail Yellodot Events at yelloevents@gmail.com, or call Sbonga Shelembe in marketing at The Witness at 033 355 1165.
