The central African country of Chad was rocked by the second coup attempt in two years in February. In the capital, N'Djamena, more than 700 people died. Waldimar Pelser, Media24's bureau chief in Lagos, Nigeria, traveled to Chad earlier this month to report on the regime of president Idriss D?, and the refugee crisis in the east of Chad, caused by the conflict in Darfur.
