Jackpot coaches only here for moolah

  Print article
  email story

THE South African Football Association(Safa) is becoming an arrogant body that aims to only satisfy certain individuals, especially coaches from overseas.

It is a shame that we cannot even make our own decision in selecting national soccer coaches. We have to wait for Alberto Carlos Parreira, who is not even South African, to choose someone for us.

Immediately after Advocate Parreira resigned I was deeply touched to learn that Mr Joel “Jackpot” Santana, who is going to be our new coach, had told his people that he was going to earn in 10 months what he could not get in his 30-year coaching career. This is tantamount to gold digging

These comrades only come to our country to make more money.

No wonder Safa chief executive Raymond Hack and Safa president Molifi Oliphant played hide-and-seek when Robert Marawa tried to interview them on Metro FM.
