By Timothy Molobi
ENGLISH and European giants Manchester United will hold coaching clinics in Ekurhuleni on Thursday and Friday.
United, who are in South Africa for the Vodacom Challenge, will end their tour on Saturday against the winner of Thursday's game between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
They played to a 1-1 draw with Chiefs on Saturday and beat Pirates 1-0 on Tuesday.
The three-day Manchester United Soccer Schools programme will continue at the Mehlareng stadium, in Thembisa, on Thursday, and will move to Boksburg on Friday with participants between the ages of 9 and 16 years from these Ekurhuleni areas set to attend.
The initiative is held in conjunction with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and is a part of the Vodacom Challenge CSI programme, and Manchester United Soccer Schools Head of Coaching.
Gavin Rhodes and his coaching colleagues will be on hand to conduct the clinic and as well as to speak to the media about the aims and objectives of the club's global soccer schools strategy.
