By Oupa Maesela
AFRICA'S premier sports marketing company MSCSports reaffirmed their social responsibility partnership with donations to Seanamarena High School in Mapetla, Soweto today.
The events management company's two-year relationship with the school was cemented with donations of Puma sports apparel and office equipment.
Former Kaizer Chiefs star Doctor Khumalo, who is the company's ambassador, was on hand to advise students on the importance of combining sports with education.
"I am where I am today because I used to play for my high school Daliwonga High in Dube. Somehow I would not have been spotted had I not featured for my school.
"Thus it is important that all of you start engaging in sport while also making sure that school work is equally done," said the former Bafana Bafana midfielder.
MSCSports' managing director Neil Janks added that his company was happy to reaffirm their partnership with the school.
"The last two years' relationship with the school have been very fruitful. The level of enthusiasm shown by students is encouraging and we are delighted to share in the excitement," he said.
MSCSports' partnership with Seanamarena involves sponsorship of the boys and girl's soccer team.
These include supplying the teams with playing kits and donating towards yearly national tours.
