Bouake - Ivory Coast warplanes launched a second wave of bombing raids on a northern rebel-held stronghold on Thursday afternoon, reopening attacks after a more than year-old cease-fire in the west African nation.
Two Russian-made Sukhoi jets bombed the city of Bouake at 11:30 GMT, said Henri Aussavy, a military spokesperson for peacekeeping forces.
There were no details about casualties from the second raid.
A bombing run at sunrise, the first such offensive in more than a year, seriously injured 25 civilians in the town, rebels said.
