Troops revolt in Sao Tome

Lisbon - Troops revolted on Wednesday in the tiny nation of Sao Tome and Principe off west Africa, detaining the prime minister and seizing government buildings, Portuguese radio reported.
Shots were heard about 03:30 and Prime Minister Maria das Neves was arrested by the mutinous troops, Portuguese state radio Radiodifusao Portuguesa reported.
