Nairobi - A member of Somalia's transitional parliament was found shot dead along with his driver and a Kenyan businessman on the outskirts of Nairobi, police said on Monday.
Sheikh Ibrahim Ali was shot dead and his body found in a forest on Sunday, said Kenyan police.
Ali was businessman from the capital Mogadishu and was in Kenya as a delegate to year-long peace talks trying to end Somalia's civil war. He was said to be an ally of the transitional president, Abdiqassim Salad Hassan, who has been boycotting the peace talks for the past month.
Police refused to say whether there may have been a political motive to the killing.
